Joy
Community
Bring back that neighborhood feel with positivity and fun events
The Block Ambassadors, as key community leaders, are trained to build trust, foster communication, and act as conduits for positive change within their neighborhoods. This program is rooted in the belief that resident-led efforts are critical in addressing the systemic issues that contribute to violence and instability and that a united, empowered community is the foundation for long-term neighborhood transformation.

Block Clubs are designed to provide...

Neighborhood Safety
Increase residents’ sense of safety and reduce crime by fostering stronger relationships among neighbors and encouraging collective action in reporting concerns.

Unity
Develop unity and promote a positive neighborhood identity, empowering residents to take pride in and ownership of their community.

Leadership
Provide leadership and skill development by equipping Block Ambassadors with training in key areas such as Trauma-Informed Care, conflict resolution, and community organizing, enabling them to effectively lead and engage their fellow residents in the Block Club's efforts.
